Simulation of General Relativistic Effects around Neutron Stars. Development of a self-consistent general relativistic ray-tracing code to obtain the observed time and energy dependent flux of an accreting neutron star. The code accounts for all relevant effects within the Schwarzschild metric. There are no restrictions for the shape of the geometrical structure of the emission regions (e.g., hot spots, conical or cylindrical accretion columns), which can be subdivided into individual parts with arbitrary emission profiles.
